The Triumphal Arch of Emperor Titus from the northwest, Rome, between 1870-1880. Built with the consent of the Senate in the time of Domitian (18-96) to celebrate the victory in the First Jewish War (66-73). Under the arch runs the ancient Sacred Way (Via Sacra) leading to the Roman Forum. On the right the Piazza di Santa Maria Nuova, and in the left background, a part of the Colosseum.
