Mutiny of Aranjuez, Spain, 1808, (1851). The Mutiny of Aranjuez (17-18 March 1808) caused the fall of Prime Minister Manuel Godoy on 19 March, for allowing French troops to enter Spanish territory by signing the "Treaty of Fontainebleau". Godoy was taken prisoner to the Bodyguards barrack in Aranjuez.
