Seven Years War (1756-1763): Battle of Kunersdorf (12th August, 1759) (1765). It took place at Neumark, near the town of Kunersdorf (now Kunowice). A Prussian army, led by Frederick the Great, was pitted against an allied army of Russo-Austrian forces. General Saltykov commanded the Russian contingent and General Loudon led the Austrians. The Prussians were defeated. Published in 1765 by the cartographer Jean de Beaurain (1696-1771) as an illustration of his "Great Map of Germany, with the events that took place during the Seven Years War". French edition, 1765.
