Portrait of Michal Kleofas Oginski, 1792-1793. A Polish composer, Grand Treasurer of Lithuania and Grand Swordsmith of Lithuania, diplomat. In the portrait he was shown at a young age, in half-figure, against the background of a stylized, early Romantic landscape, with a sheet of paper (probably sheet music) in his hand, in a general's uniform with the star of the Order of the White Eagle, awarded to him by King Stanislaw August in 1789.
