Portrait of Krasuski, between 1750-1850. Additional Info: A portrait of an unknown man of the Krasuski family, although relatively late, as it could be made even at the beginning of the 19th century, is a traditional old Polish painting and is an example of a type called the Sarmatian portrait. The model wears a national outfit, consisting of a zupan buttoned under the neck, a kontusz (maybe used as a uniform, as it is fastened with buttons decorated with eagles), and a woven sash. A sabre hangs at the left side.
