Coffin Portrait of Mr Nieborowski from Hyzne, c1740. The coffin portrait of a grey man with long curly hair is a gift from the Jedrzejowicz family from Dylagówka near Rzeszów, which formerly belonged to the parish of Hyzne. Undoubtedly, the coffin portrait depicts one of the Nieborowskis, but unfortunately there are no grounds for pointing to a specific member of the family. The state of preservation of the work, which has not survived to our times in good condition, makes it difficult to date precisely, and thus to attempt to juxtapose the image with the date of death of any specific person.
