Ship-building: two types of Japanese boat, 1833. 'A Japan trading junk that I sent a boat on board on the 5th of July 1833; and they brought on board a bag of rice. A Japan fishing boat that came alongside of his own accord on the 12th of July 1833 - we got a fishing rod & one or two curiosities from him; but he had not any fish - except little things, about the size of sprats for bait. 1. white cloth - 2. & 3.
