Monument over the grave of George Cruikshank, in the Crypt of St. Paul's, 1881. Following '...the death of this eminent artist, in February, 1878,...his widow, Mrs. Eliza Cruikshank...requested the well-known sculptor, Mr. John Adams-Acton, who had been one of her husband's friends, to design a monumental bust of him, which has lately been completed, and erected over his tomb in St. Paul's Cathedral, and an Illustration of which is now presented to the readers of this journal'.
