Royal salutes were fired in the Long Walk by the Royal Bombardier, and at Fort Belvedere and at Virginia Water. At St. George's Chapel, in the afternoon, a special anthem, composed by Sir George Elvey, was sung in commemoration of the Royal wedding'. From "Illustrated London News", 1874.
