A woman making oat cakes, 1814. Interior of a kitchen or bakery with a woman and two children. Oat cakes on a cloth lie on boards on top of a chair which has been placed on its front. Smoke rises from the oven, and more oat cakes hang to dry from strings above the hearth where some stockings also hang. A cat sits in front of the fire.
