Horoscope for Her Majesty Queen Victoria, 1895. A portrait of the queen surrounded by astrological symbols drawn on a flag. The journal "Modern Astrology" was founded in 1895 by Alan Leo and it became the focus of astrology in Britain. This horoscope of Queen Victoria was published in the first issue, and a prize of three guineas was offered for the best reading of it. One wonders how fair a test this was, since astrologers had by then had sixty years to read the queen's character.
