Sir Robert Porrett Collier, judge of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, 1880. Porrett Collier was an active member of the Anti-Corn Law League. In 1852 he became MP for Plymouth, and kept the seat until he became a member of the judicial committee of the privy council. In 1854 he became a Queen's Counsel. In 1868 he was appointed attorney-general. In 1885 he was created a peer, and given the title Lord Monkswell.
