'The Young Lady's Toilet', 1842. A European woman, probably the wife or daughter of an official in the British Raj in India, is attended by Indian servants. One helps her dress, another pours water into a bowl, and a small boy stands holding a bottle. The title above, 'Anglo Indians', probably refers to British people living in India, rather than people of mixed Indian and English descent. From "Sketches illustrating the Manners and Customs of Indians & Anglo Indians".
