Interior of the Great Room at the Egyptian Hall, 1822. Italian explorer and showman Giovanni Battista Belzoni was a proprietor of the tomb of Seti I which was exhibited at the Egyptian Hall in London in 1822. The two chambers were casts made in bas relief, of plaster of Paris, and were to be sold by Belzoni at the end of the exhibition.
