Hand coloured copy of labelled detail showing the apex of truss number one in the hammerbeam roof at Westminster Hall, with an inlaid detail showing the east elevation of the ridge between the north wall and truss number one. The medieval great hall is part of the Palace of Westminster in London. It was erected in 1097 and is the oldest building in Parliament.
