Hand coloured copy of labelled detail showing modern repairs to the decayed post of principal number three on the east side at the end of the main collar beam of the hammerbeam roof at Westminster Hall, with an inlaid plan. Timber and metalwork inserted by Sir Charles Barry are shown. The medieval great hall is part of the Palace of Westminster in London. It was erected in 1097 and is the oldest building in Parliament.
