Educated by private tutors, and at Broadwood, Lancashire. Married, in 1855, eldest daughter of Mr. Richard Jennings, but left a widower in 1870. Author of various works, including "The Battle of Fontenoy," and other poems, "What is Home Rule," &c'. From "Illustrated London News", 1880.
