'Lieutenant-Colonel Henry Edward Home-Drummond Moray, AI.P., is eldest son of Charles Edward Home-Drummond Moray, Esq., of Abercairny and Blair-Drummond, Perthshire; his mother being Lady Anne, daughter of the fifth Marquis of Queensberry. He was born in 1846, and was educated at Eton; in January, 1866, he entered the Scots Guards, and attained, in September, 1877, the rank of Captain in that regiment, and of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Army. He married, in 1877, Lady Georgina Emily Lucy, third daughter of the fifth Marquis of Hertford. He is a Deputy-Lieutenant for the county of Perth. Since February, 1878, he has been a representative of that county in the House of Commons'. From "Illustrated London News", 1880.
