Memorial plaque on the Karl-Marx-Hof building, Vienna, Austria, 1998. The building was a battlefield during the short-lived Austrian Civil War or February Uprising, of 1934. The commemorative plaque on the wall reads: "the first to face fascism in Europe were the Austrian workers. They fought for freedom, democracy and republic. We never forget! Socialists fighters for freedom".
