Attic Black-Figure Kyathos, about 510 BC. Ladle with a Satyr and a Maenad. Additional Info: Between decorative eyes (partially decorated with added white, now much effaced), a satyr pursues a maenad (holding clappers, wearing an animal skin over her chiton, looking back) to the right. Between the eyes and handle, a youth on the left and a bearded man on the right. Both hold their cloaks over an outstretched arm and wield staffs as though hunting. In the field, vines.
