The Town Cup of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club, 1865. '...the cup...is a vase of embossed silver, on a pedestal, with the figure of a yachtsman leaning on a rudder, a yacht in full sail displayed on the shield above; the handles formed of tridents, and the lid surmounted by a pair of banners, with other subordinate features. Its weight is 40 oz., and it was furnished by Mr. Barnard, silversmith, of Ryde'. From "Illustrated London News", 1865.
