A view inside the entrance to the British Empire Exhibition in Wembley Park, showing people walking on to the site and Railodock electric buses in the background. The British Empire Exhibition opened on St George's Day 1924 with the aim of stimulating trade and strengthening bonds between the countries of the British Empire. The Railodock buses shown in the background were electric buses used to transport people between the different exhibition buildings on the site.
