On the left is Albert Neilson Hornby (1847-1925), who played cricket for Lancashire from 1867 until 1899. Behind is the Lancashire and England wicket keeper Richard Pilling (1855-1891). The original separate pavilions of the Old Trafford ground are shown in the background. In the late 20th century the stained glass window was located in a house in Southport and was later returned to the pavilion at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
