Wire cutters are made from metal painted a dark green and have the letters, [L.J.S.] and [B.S.E.] marked by hand with dots in the paint. The head of the wire cutters is a large rectangular hinge. The handles are made of wood and attached to the arms of the wire cutters with screws. The handles have a small metal piece that extends with a hole in the center.
