The Great Hall lantern of Lincoln's Inn New Buildings, 1845. Belvedere and weathervane at Lincoln's Inn, one of the Inns of Court at Holborn in London. The new complex was designed by Philip Hardwick. 'The Great Hall bears a Louvre, or Lantern, tastefully enriched, and gilt, yet distinguished by lightness and elegance'.
