Head of a Young Girl Turning toward the Right, 1758?. Although once attributed to the painter Louis Tocqué (1696-1772), this beautiful drawing of a young girl is closer to the work of another important portraitist of the 1700s, François-Hubert Drouais. The inscription at the lower left identifies the girl as a certain Marie-Thérèse, but this writing was probably added later, and we have no way of knowing for certain who she is.
