Centerpiece, or Jardinière, c. 1830-1850. Regrettably, a maker's mark does not appear on this piece: thus the factory that made it remains unknown. Nevertheless, its design, castings, and gilding are of fine quality and indicate that it is the product of a group of talented craftsmen who worked in the robust taste of the second quarter of the 19th century.
