Ice pail showing the storming of Ciudad Rodrigo, Spain, 1812 (1817-1819). Item in Apsley House, London, from the Wellington Museum. Part of a dinner service which was given as a gift from the King of Prussia to the Duke of Wellington in 1819. Items of the Prussian Service show scenes of events in Wellington's life, in this case the British capture of Ciudad Rodrigo in the Peninsular War.
