'Mrs. Judson Takes Her Child To Her Chained Husband', c1912. Adoniram Judson, Jr. (1788-1850), American Congregationalist and later Baptist missionary. Judson was imprisoned for 17 months during the war between the United Kingdom and Burma, first at Ava and then at Aung Pinle. Here we see his wife and young daughter visiting him.
