General Juan Rius Rivera. Born in Puerto Rico in 1843; came to Cuba in 1870; he joined the revolution and fought until 1878. He returned with an expedition in September 1896 and was in charge of the forces of Pinar del Río. In March 1897 he was wounded and taken prisoner. He worked at the Treasury department in 1905 and died in 1924. Cigar card from the History of Cuba, Geografico Universal, Propaganda de los Cigarros Susini y La Corona, Tabacalera Cubana.
