Gold medallion showing the Emperor Constantius Chlorus, Roman, (c296 AD?). A kneeling woman, probably an allegorical figure representing London, raises her arms to the Roman emperor who rides a horse and wears a laurel wreath. The inscription states that 'London welcomes Constantius Chlorus, who rescued the city from being plundered AD 296'.
