Main staircase of the Winter Palace, Hermitage Museum, St Petersburg, Russia, 2011. The painting on the ceiling is 'Olympus', painted by Gaspare Diziani in the 1750s. The main staircase was restored after the fire of 1837 by Vasily Stasov who largely preserved the original design of Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli.
