'The Hermitage Theatre in St Petersburg', 1840s. The theatre was built in the 1780s by order of Catherine the Great. The Palladian building was designed by Italian-born architect Giacomo Quarenghi. Found in the collection of the A Pushkin Memorial Museum, St Petersburg.
