Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Russian composer, in his study, St Petersburg, Russia, 1892. Rimsky-Korsakov (1844-1908) was a member of the group of Russian composers known as 'The Five'. He composed 15 operas, one of which, 'The Tale of Tsar Saltan', contains the piece of music for which he is most famous, 'The Flight of the Bumblebee'.
