Danish Bacon Company distribution depot, Kilnhurst, South Yorkshire, 1963. Danish Bacon opened their new distribution depot in the village of Kilnhurst in 1957. Due to its central location near Rotherham and its proximity to the A1 and the North Sea ports, Kilnhurst was an ideal base for the company. This photograph, shows the warehouse with two Bedford TK lorries parked outside. An older Bedford is partially hidden from view.
