Horse Guards and the Treasury, Whitehall, Westminster, London, 1810. The Palladian Horse Guards was built in the early 1750s by John Vardy to a design by William Kent. The Treasury building is on the right. In the foreground is a Turkish cannon brought back from Egypt by British troops.
