Royal Exchange, looking south-west, City of London, 1809. View of the second Royal Exchange, designed by Edward Jerman, which replaced the original built by Sir Thomas Gresham, destroyed in the Fire of London in 1666. It in turn was destroyed by a fire in 1838.
