'Brookins in His Aeroplane over Art Institute and Grant Park, Chicago', postcard, 1910. A bird's eye view of Michigan Avenue and Grant Park showing the Art institute. An aeroplane flies over the scene which is crowed with vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Walter Richard Brookins (1889-1953) was the first pilot trained by the Wright Brothers for the Wright Exhibition Team, which flew the brothers' aircraft at shows and exhibitions.
