Battlecruiser HMS 'Hood', seen from HMS 'Nelson', 1937. The largest warship in the Royal Navy, HMS 'Hood' exploded and sank while engaging the German battleship 'Bismarck' and the heavy cruiser 'Prinz Eugen' in the Denmark Strait on 24th May 1941.
