Saucer with green dragon on cafe au lait ground, Yongzheng period, Qing dynasty, China, 1723-1735. A cafe au lait glazed saucer decorated with an imperial dragon chasing a flaming pearl in green overglaze with black overglaze individually-drawn scales. The reverse has four black rocks protruding from wave-tossed green and light turquoise green seas. The base has a Yongzheng mark in underglaze blue in double lined blue bordered square cartouche.
