Satirical print on the Panama Scandal of 1892-1893, which involved the French government taking bribes to not inform the public of the extent of the Panama Canal Company's financial difficulties. An inquiry concluded in 1893 found that 104 legislators had been involved in the affair. from the Le Petit Journal, 31st December 1892.
