Isabella de Medici, 16th century. Isabella de Medici (1542-1576) was the daughter of Cosimo I de Medici, the first Grand Duke of Tuscany. In 1558 she married Paolo Giordano Orsini, Duke of Bracciano, but the duke, suspicious that Isabella was having an affair with his cousin Troilo Orsini, had them both murdered.
