Celadon bowl, Song dynasty, China, 12th century. Small celadon bowl of conical form with many carved vertical lines in groups on the exterior. The interior has carved decoration with abstract and combed zig-zag designs all under a transparent crackled olive glaze. The base is knife-pared. Probably made in the Tong'an kilns, Fujian Province.
