Ban Chiang red pottery vase, Thailand, c500 BC-200 AD. A Ban Chiang painted red pottery vase of bulbous shape with everted rim. The stem base is hollow with a convex curve. The vase is covered all over with red oine spirals with spaces filled in with solid glaze.
