Amber brushwasher carved as a floral group, China, 1644-1911. Qing dynasty amber brushwasher carved as a floral group. The amber is of red colour but with crystalised honey interior. Amber was imported into China both from the Baltic and from Burma; the types are distinguishable and this is amber of Baltic type.
