The Victoria Embankment looking towards Cleopatra's Needle, London, c1945-c1965. Cleopatra's Needle is an Egyptian obelisk which was imported and erected here in 1878. Shell-Mex House and the Savoy Hotel can be seen in the background beyond the trees.
