Wigmore Castle, near Leominster, Hereford and Worcester, 1999. The castle was one of the major fortresses of the Welsh Marches. The present ruins date from a rebuilding by Roger Mortimer, first earl of March, in the 14th century. As an experiment, the ruins have been consolidated but retain a 'wild' look.
