Ballingdon Hall being moved, Suffolk, 1972. Ballingdon Hall, Sudbury, Suffolk, was moved 200 yards when the A131 was improved. The entire house was strengthened and placed on a huge vehicle. The timber-framed house was built in about 1593 by Sir Thomas Eden.
