Construction work at Churchill Gardens in Pimlico, London, 1950s. An award winning scheme of flats and maisonettes developed on a 30 acre site to include shopping centre, restaurant and pubs. The flats were heated by waste hot water pumped under the River Thames from Battersea Power Station.
