Marlborough House, Pall Mall, London. Exterior view of Marlborough House, which was originally built for the first Duke of Marlborough by Sir Christopher Wren in 1709-1711, with the upper floors in the same style added by Pennethorne in the 1860s, it later became the home of royal widows.
